These are Anglo Saxon fibula style brooches of the 5th/6th century. They are worn either singly, fastening a cloak, or in pairs to fasten a dress or peplos. These brooches feature a pair of eagle or raven heads, which were a common motif in Anglo Saxon Art.
These Brooches are handmade in Asgard's workshop in Scotland and are cast in lead-free solid Pewter.
Pewter is a malleable metal alloy that is composed mostly of tin and is often used in jewelry because of its strength and durability.
