Vikings Luck of Lochland Jelling Style Pewter Brooch

Irish annals suggest that Lochland was a Viking kingdom in Scotland in the 8th/9th century. This pewter brooch is an original design based on the 10th century Jelling Style. It is inspired by original brooches and the one described in ‘Whos Afraid of Beowulf’ by Tom Holt. This brooch features a Dragon Knotwork design with an "S" shaped and intertwined form and an open interlace pattern with diagonal symmetry.

This Brooch is handmade in Asgard's workshop in Scotland and is cast in lead-free solid Pewter.

Pewter is a malleable metal alloy that is composed mostly of tin and is often used in jewelry because of its strength and durability and is suitable for fastening light fabric, tunics, and dresses.
