Viking Hiddensee Knotwork Spacer Pewter Pendant

This intricately crafted pendant features a decorative knotwork detailing that is based on a design that was a part of the hoard that was found on the Baltic Islands of Hiddensee. The design dates from the 10th Century and the originals were probably made in Denmark.
