Vikings Skane Thor Hammer Glass Stone Pendant
Vikings Skane Thor Hammer Glass Stone Pendant
This stunning solid Thor's hammer Mjolnir pendant is a replica of one from the Viking period that was found in Skane, Sweden, and features mini studs and scroll detailing. Thor’s Hammers were worn by followers of Thor for protection. This detailed Thor hammer pendant was widely used as religious amulets during the Viking Age, with wearers hoping to invoke the favor of the thunder and fertility god Thor.
The stone is made from glass, which was a rare material 1000 years ago and was often used in jewelry because of its expensive nature.
