Vikings Hammered Flat Thor's Hammer Pewter Pendant

This Thor's Hammer is based on an original Viking age one from Romesdal, Denmark. It features a flat silhouette with punched rings detailing. Our master was made by open casting into a soapstone mold (based on a Viking age find). The rough hammer shape was then beaten until flat, and the design was then punched in. The original would have been made in a similar way.

This pendant is available in Pewter, Bronze & Sterling Silver.

The Pewter version of this Pendant is handmade in Asgard's workshop in Scotland and is cast in lead-free solid Pewter.

Pewter is a malleable metal alloy that is composed mostly of tin and is often used in jewelry because of its strength and durability.

The Bronze & Silver version of this pendant is cast in England and is hand finished and polished in Asgard's workshop in Scotland, 

Bronze is made from high-quality copper and tin which is mostly used in making jewelry.  

Silver is made from high quality certified and graded Sterling Silver 925 in Birmingham and it is stamped to authenticate this.

100% pure silver is too soft to make durable jewelry out of. As a result, the industry standard is to combine 92.5% silver with 7.5% of other metals to create a strong alloy that can be used in jewelry. This alloy is what is referred to as Sterling Silver 925.
